Hi, there. We're Huesmnl.
Our Medical Apparel Production started Mid 2020, after a PPE Donation Drive headed by a group of DLS-CSB Fashion Design and Merchandising Graduates. Miel Avena then took over the whole production, taking it as a side project mainly to help sustain the livelihood of those who helped during the drive.
Due to the consistent demand for Scrubs, she then decided to push through with the venture and placed it under Huesmnl Apparel Shop, hence the birth of Scrubs by Huesmnl.
WHO WE ARE
Meet the Designer
Miel Avena is a Fashion Designer whose home studio is located at Quezon City, Manila. She graduated with honors from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde, Bachelor of Arts - Major in Fashion Design and Merchandising, then later took up British Bespoke Tailoring from Slims Fashion and Arts School.
Aside from heading Huesmnl, she also does Custom Bridals and Formal Wear under her namesake. Her design identity focuses on simplicity of structure, paying more attention to detail which most of the time she prefers to craft by hand.
She is Christian by faith.

OUR STORY
It is all By Grace
Sometime around 2018 I had no stable source of income, i was also selling Lab Gowns on the side. I prayed to the Lord, that if at a certain age i still did not have the income flow i needed to sustain myself, i’d go on a different path.
“Sana makapag supply din ako sa mga hospital someday” (Lab Gowns) that thought entered my mind only once, for the reason that it seemed so impossible for me to be able to do that, and so i brushed it off.
Two years later, I was so close to leaving the industry. But the Lord intervened. Not only did He allow me to supply (Scrubs) to hospitals, He also enabled me to become a blessing to others by offering jobs for the production.
I have learned that it would be impossible for me to sustain myself, because i am only human, flawed and imperfect. True sustenance comes from the Lord, and as long as He stays as my source, my river of blessings and sustenance will never run dry. Truly it is all by His grace.
I commit this business to the Lord, this is His, and i will try my best to handle it with us much care as possible. And because this is His, i know He will sustain it.
And to you who is reading this, thank you for taking the time to do so. I will commit myself in giving you the best of my abilities, and may it also reflect on your purchase.
